ESSAYS
CONTRIBUTE
We are looking for contributions to post on this page. Basically, we're
looking for fan-written essays about anything related to Twin Peaks,
Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me or David Lynch's other work.
If you're
interested in contributing, simply e-mail your essay (as a Microsoft
Word document, plain-text document or in the body of your e-mail) to
us here. You're encouraged to
contact us before submitting anything to tell us about your essay ideas.
RULES
We have a few simple ground rules about the essays:
- Anything you
submit must be 100 percent your own work. If you are submitting something
you've written that's been published previously, you must make sure
you have full permission to repost the work on our site.
- We cannot compensate
you in any way for any work you submit to us.
- We will not
accept any essay that attempts to defame or hurt anyone.
- Although we
will basically leave your text as you send it to us, we may do minor
editing for typos and the like.
IDEAS
Here are a few ideas that outline the types of subjects we're looking
for in essays. Your choices for topics are not limited to these, though.
- What does a
particular symbol, sequence or character mean to you? In other words,
how do you interpret various aspects of Twin Peaks or Lynch's
films?
- How has Twin
Peaks and/or one of Lynch's films affected your life?
- Have you met
Lynch or a cast member? Have you been to the Twin Peaks Fest? Tell
us about it. Feel free to include photos if you have them and own
the rights to them.
